about me

Carolina raised   French taste   Outerspace thinker   West Coast bound

UNC Business & Art
I was Tar Heel bred at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I studied Business Administration at Kenan-Flagler's Business School as well as Studio Art.
ProFolio, LLC
With 40,000 artists in over 150 countries, I started ProFolio to give awesome portfolio websites to people. Now, this startup's goal is to continue giving artists the opporunities to succeed in today's art world.
Marchutz School of Fine Arts
From south of the Mason Dixon to the south of France. I studied painting and design in Provence, walking in the footsteps of modern masters Cézanne, Van Gogh, and Picasso.
Web Design/Dev
The best design is often invisible. With freelance experience, I take on new challenges with a mix of the newest trends and fundamental principles - always focusing on the user.
The Artist's Guidelines
Focus on the whole, execute the details, and master technique. Whether I'm painting, drawing, designing, or playing the piano, there exists the same focused baseline of creativity.
Get to Know Me
What I'm thinking: It's 2017. Where's our hovercrafts? Jeep, no top. Tennis, serve & volley. Fast learner. Drops of Jupiter. Français (proficient enough to flirt). Loves design. Smile.

The creative person wants to be a know-it-all. He wants to know about all kinds of things: ancient history, nineteenth-century mathematics, current manufacturing techniques, flower arranging, and hog futures. Because he never knows when these ideas might come together to form a new idea. It may happen six minutes later or six months, or six years down the road. But he has faith that it will happen. — Carl Ally
